ArtLog: a request for grace
I have a Thing about getting the Beads of the Month out before the month is over, but I need to ask for grace this time. Likewise for the handful of pieces bought recently.

I will have them out to people as soon as I can. Sorry about delay.

Sorry I was so zonked this week. I can come over again almost any night next week that works for you to finish it up. And don't worry about paying for yesterday. Consider it my version of hotdish.

I'm not much into jewelry, and I'm not one of your bead people, but if anybody DOES complain, please let me know who they are so I can go find them and at the very least TP their house and spray obscenities with shaving cream on their car....

Take all the time you need, of course. Life, love, and death take precedence over shinies.

Only thing is... I'm embarassed to say it, but I do have a deadline, simply because I'm leaving this address forever in only two weeks (Oct 13) and since I'm changing continents, I don't think mail will forward.. So please, take all the time you need, but if the beads seem likely to arrive to an empty house, just save them and ship with the October / November beads.

I'm glad you posted this because it gives me a place to do something. I looked at the BOTM roster and you had question attached to my name and I couldn't figure out how to answer it because under the circumstances.

Yeah, you said I didn't need to send postage for the Magpie because you'd combine it with the recent purchase and I'd already paid the postage on it.

Get to it when you can babe, and don't sweat it.

Oh Elise, sweetie--having so recently been where you are standing, let me remind you what you already know: no one.. .NO ONE worth a bean. . .is going to task you about late beads. But your own heart is trying so hard to regularize, to keep beating, that you are going to fuss over stuff that edges on the inconsequential. Don't worry about it. Let your friends smother and mother you. It's all we CAN do really.
