(relinked) A PSA, or, How Mike Got His Kidney There are some new folks around here, and while there are fresh readers, I'm going to relink a public service announcement of sorts. When my beloved Mike passed away in 2006, some people were asking about memorials, and one thing we came up with was spreading the word about people signing organ donor cards and suchlike, since some unknown person who did so gave Mike the biggest possible gift, so I reprinted the original-from-Usenet account of Mike getting his kidney.
