    Time Event
    12:48a
ArtLog: new work (but no pictures yet)
Two pendants, one called "The Exile" and the other called "King of the Canyon." Pictures tomorrow if all goes well. At the moment I am a small pool of howling nothingness, but I shall take myself to a hot bath and a snack and then curl up next to my Juan, who will snuggle me in his sleep, and that will be good.

    infinitesimal progress
Very slow Lioness today. However, onward. I am going to accomplish something.

    And you? How goes?
    3:07p
    sunny day in winterland
Snow is melting and falling off the roof with great thumping noises.
The sun is shining in the windows, or through the curtains at least.
And I am sorting bills, and now I am attending to Lioness paperwork preparatory to packing the next batch. So something is happening work-wise, and that's good, but I have such a terrible impulse to take snapshots of beads and to make something.

Maybe if I give in now, I'll get more done afterwards.

    Heh. Rationalizations 'R' Us.

ArtLog: pictures of those two new pendants, plus some beady goodness for BotMo
"The Exile" pendant: tourmalinated quartz and sterling silver. I could take photos of this stuff all day, and could work with it all year. Fascinating stone. SOLD

"King of the Canyon" pendant: stone, which I think is jasper, and sterling silver. Again, these stones fascinate me.

[info]mrissa and [info]timprov saw the batch of stones I have in the workbasket, and they agreed with me that each one was so very cool. I have some very satisfying work ahead...

...but not until I get the sale stuff prepped/packed and the Beads of the Month pulled. Speaking of BotMo, here are some more shots of why I like this month so much. As I told somebody the other day, this is one of the Very Serious Value months. Deadline's tomorrow, so I am trying to get ahead of the game here. While simultaneously packing sale stuff. And resisting the temptation to go work with those cool beads.

Life is good, when those are one's dilemmas. Or is it dilemmae?
    6:59p
    consumer desires
OK, I suddenly passionately want a Scooba and a Roomba.

Rationalizing like mad: doesn't it make sense, yah, for somebody with arthritis and a damaged hip?
