    ArtLog: oooh, prezzies!
My gracious hosts have given me a great gift. It's a magic piece of paper; I take it to this really cool bead store around here, and give it to them, and they give me some really cool beads.

Life is good! Especially with beads. Also, I got some really nice Botswana agate the other day, and will be making pendants and earrings. Given the tech situation, though (which translates to "I do not have a traveling computer, and thus no traveling photo capability"), it will be two weeks before I can show them to you, most likely. I will, however, describe them here as they come to be.

Also, Beads of the Month discussion about the upcoming January selection will happen in this journal very soon, as will informational posts about next year's BotMo (year 3! I can't believe it!) and the very first year of the Artists' Challenge of the Month program.

I said life is good, right? Life is good!

ArtLog: Beads of the Month for January (the final BotMo of Year 2)
The theme for January's Beads of the Month selections will be "Elise's Choice," so you know what that means.

This Lioness would find it very helpful if people were to comment here about what beads they especially liked over the past year. Doesn't matter if you were in for all the BotMo packages or just for one month; anything you have to say about BotMo beads that you received will be useful.

What stands out in my own memory about Year 2 are these things: ocean jasper (yikes! I just realize I owe somebody replacement beads! Sorry, [info]thette, I will get those out to you as soon as I get home!), agate beads, the colors of water and colors of fire packages, and giggling with Katie while we packed things. Anything stand out in your memory?

If you've made something with some of the beads, feel free to link to a picture, if you'd like. If you just like playing with them and carrying them around, tell me that, too, because I love knowing it.
