ArtLog: "Banners of Pearl" earrings available now
Some of you have seen a fancy slab pearl necklace and earrings set called "Banners of Pearl." Some of you have bewailed the fact that I was not selling the earrings individually. Well, I have gotten to work and made some more of that type of earring, so there are some available now. Three of the four pairs shown here are currently available. The far left pair, which is silvery-white (the exact same color as the original) is available, as is the next one to the right of it, with slightly darker silvery-grey pearls. The third pair, which is also the darker silvery-grey, is sold. The final pair on the right is silvery-white, and it is available. Any of these can be shortened if you don't want such dangly earrings; I'll just take up the chain a bit. (The pair that sold is the shortest pair.)

All these are sterling silver; the first three pair have terminal spirals, and thus should not be worn with sweaters or lacy shawls or scarves. (And don't lean your head on someone's sweatered shoulder, or you and the sweater might need help disentangling!) The fourth pair, that on the far right, is a new streamlined design, which unfortunately doesn't have the graceful swing of the original, but doesn't grab stuff the same way either. They're all $50 per pair, no matter which design, although I must say the streamlined ones are a lot more work, so there will be relatively few pair of those at this point.

Shipping on these is five bucks. If you're ordering several different kinds of things this week, ask me about combined shipping possibilities, OK? I'll do what I can to save you something there. Thanks!

Aragorn deMorgan Xylophone Sophocles Poozecat is very silly
He was on top of the bed, on the big puffy comforter, chasing a quarter that had fallen out of my pocket. It flipped over the pillowy rises and into the sewn channels very nicely. When he started picking it up in his mouth, though, I took it away from him, as I did not want him to choke on it.

He is now chasing an invisible coin in exactly the same place.

    I love my silly poozecat.
