ArtLog: Beads of the Month for October
Hey there, BotMo people. "Focal Point Beads" is the theme for October, and as soon as I get the last two addresses on these boxes, they'll be ready to ship out in the morning. I am going to put all of them in the mail at the same time, so we can have a race. Please note that these will be bigger packages than usual, as I needed to go to serious boxes to protect this batch.

There's something else unusual about this batch. Well, two things, really. First, we have a featured designer, Mary Cooper. You will each be receiving at least one of her beads, and most of you will get two. Mary, whom I know as Moe (and now you know who the Moe of the Moe Beads on the necklace contents cards is!), has a website called beadgrrl.com where you can look at the lovely things she's done. She's also agreed to come by here and answer questions about the beads, if people have any. As soon as the first person has received their package, I'll start an entry for that.

The second unusual thing is that when I was going through my boxes of collected vintage treasures and lampwork and other goodies, I found five special beads that are definitely focal point beads and are definitely an interesting challenge to work with... so that's why five of you are getting Bold Rabbits. When you receive a Bold Rabbit, tell me, and I will give you the password to the LJ of [info]7br, and you can post there in the persona of the Bold Rabbit you happen to have. (They are numbered, so we can tell them apart.) If you give away or sell your Bold Rabbit, please give the password to the journal to the recipient, so they can continue posting the adventures of their Bold Rabbit, and ask them to do the same thing should they find a new host for the Bold Rabbit.

OK, there ya go! Let the fun begin!

somebody might be having a bad night
It's a two-gunshot night in the neighborhood. It sounded from what the 911 person said when I called in like everybody in a four-block radius was calling it in, too.

    Chill out, people.
