checking in from down south Hello, hello. I'm on a borrowed computer down in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Ford is still in at dinner, or rather at the convivial table that held dinner until we ate it all; last I heard, they were discussing translators and translating, although they could have moved on to vermicultures, the history of the transistor, the effect of the Basques on American political science, or possibly the origin of the feather boa, by now. It was fun, but my eyes get full of words after a while, and I need to go off and do laundry and just plain Not Lipread for a bit, or I get surly. So here I am. (I bid them polite goodnight, or at least I hope it was polite. And dinner was lovely. Venison. Yum.)
So anyhow, there has been much sociable gathering, and then of course the holidays, and the usual happy wandering through a good second-hand bookstore (I always find something at Atlantic), and today there was a bead store expotition. Some nice people got a person a gift certificate to a bead store. Hee hee hee, says the Lioness, thinking of glittering heap of treasure now on the table she's been working at for the past week. Oh, and speaking of work, I had better post an ArtLog, too. I have made stuff.
So how's your evening? How was your day? Yummy? Sparkly? Conversational?
P.S. I miss you guys. Will try to get on-line more regularly in the next few days. |
