ArtLog: considering software purchase; also, show report Has anybody else tried
jewelrydesignermanager? The pro version has the parts inventory features I'm looking for, and I have gotten one strong recommendation for it, and it looks like it might be a good thing.(Says the lioness, contemplating doing inventory with a warding-off-worries look. Warding off worries is Good.)
In other news, I finished the second day of shows. Eh, not lucrative, but better than yesterday. Met some nice people, had some fun, got some good work done. I have a nice line of named pendants coming along, mostly around the $20 - $25 range. This is handy, as I have been looking for some less expensive but still writer-magnet-type lines. (The named earrings line is already working quite well.)
Must plan for conventions upcoming. Got to deal with haiku earring poem possibilities for WisCon. Also interested in seeing if we can do some readings, either as a programming item or as a party item, depending on what the programming folks think is appropriate.
And I need to see if Tucson fits in the budget. Want to go. Really, really, really want to go. And if I do it, the close-in hotel is the smartest choice for me health-wise... but it's pricey. Shall inquire about possible roommates. (Psst!
trinker, are you going? Interested in magpie treasure slumber party again?)
In other news, hedgehog placement and construction continues to go well. Am about to head upstairs and play with one now, in fact. It's a reward for the work at the shows. (But I was a good lioness and already typed in and printed out my show reports.)
Note to self: make more wandering wire earrings. They sell almost immediately. Also, find the earring grab bag query that went astray. And, and, and...
I'm glad I'm getting more organized. Then again, it would be hard for me to get any less organized. *snrch*
