In the course of reading some comments on Teresa Nielsen Hayden's blog, I was reminded that Richard Brautigan's work has definitely influenced my own. In particular, the library he describes in the book The Abortion was an amazing thing to discover in a book.

Does anyone else know about that library? Do you remember the book about growing flowers in hotel rooms by candlelight? I think that book had something to do with the way I title my necklaces and other adornments and sculptures.
