ArtLog: New Shinies
Greetings from snailsville. Here are your shinies of newness.
"Binding the Lightning" pendant: lampwork glass by Charlene Haycox, sterling silver. $85
"The Dragons of My Country Have Other Opinions" pendant: jasper, color-treated resin-encased cultured pearls, gold filled wire. $65
... "Message in a Klein Bottle" pendant: unknown stone that may be agate, cultured freshwater pearls, sterling silver. $40 SOLD
"My Lady's Clockwork Carriage" pendant: stone, color-treated freshwater cultured pearls, an old jewelry bit, sterling silver. $90
... "My Magic Is A Quiet Thing" pendant: unknown stone which is probably agate, and gold filled wire. $38 SOLD
... "The Oakwoman's Tale" pendant: apparently overdyed agate, color-treated cultured pearls, gold filled wire, dyed howlite nugget. $120 SOLD
"A Season For Ghosts" pendant: a wonderful slab of what was sold to me as serpentine, glass, gold filled wire. $110
... "She Is Risen" pendant: cultured slab pearl, glass, sterling silver. $75. And those little glass flowers are actually a blue-violet, despite what the photos and your monitor may imply. SOLD
... "What Pixies Do To Painters" pendant: apparently overdyed agate slab, gold filled wire, laughter. $48 SOLD
"Wm. Morris, Genie (His Bottle)" pendant: lampwork glass by Charlene Haycox, little purple glass flowers, colortreated freshwater cultured pearls encased in faceted resin, sterling silver. $95
...and a new (well, finally finished) blue and silver necklace-crown that's had somebody waiting for it for a while now, so it's on hold until I e-mail them and they tell me what they think.
As always, the only way to actually purchase one of these things is to send me email at gimme@lioness.net and tell me you want to buy one. We'll reply, and Daniel will send you a total. Now that I've told you that secret, feel free to comment here, safe in the knowledge that you can't accidentally buy something (or put dibs on it) just by remarking on it.
Shipping is usually $6.50 in the U.S. and Canada and $8.50 elsewhere in the world, unless things are especially heavy or want insurance or something. Ask Daniel for a quote if you need one; the gimme address above will reach him, or you can catch him directly at stitchandlioness@gmail.com.
Thanks for looking at my shinies.
