ArtLog: more new work
I just made some earrings about Egyptian bears, and a hair ornament about lotuses, and a pendant that I am extremely pleased with. It's called "Wednesday/Saturn," and it is sterling silver wire and a big piece of opal matrix shaped like an upside-down teardrop, with some threads of green/bluegreen opal flash running through it. I am completely satisfied with that piece.

Life is good. And soon one of my apprentices comes to work, and then I probably work more afterwards.

It's called "Wednesday/Saturn,"

And that, boys and girls, was the moment Wednesday's jaw fell off of her face and to the ground. We know it's on the floor, but we don't know which floor.

translation: bated breath til the next photo round, oh yes.

And, of course, the phrase "Eqyptian bears" made me think of somewhat stout, hairy gay men in loin cloths with pyramids in the background...
