There is a reason why Pelosi said "Impeachment is NOT on the table." She's going to let Bush twist in the wind. May be if he's real lucky, the People will scream for impeachment and she will then quietly give it to them.
THAT is a Real Politician in action.

We've got at least one Republican senator saying that impeachment isn't on the table in ways that strongly suggest that the only reason he hasn't introduced an impeachment bill is that he's in the senate and those come from the House of Representatives. Pelosi doesn't need to put it on the table right now. (Maybe it's time for my Representative to start saying such things, though running Ways and Means might be keeping him otherwise occupied.)
